What we left out
No oxybenzone, octinoxate, octocrylene, homosalate, parabens or fragrance. No mineral filters — the reason your old sunscreen went grey.
Questions, answered straight.
Will it leave a white cast?
No. The cast is the mineral filter — a white powder. Ours are clear, next-generation filters, so there is nothing to turn grey on deeper skin.
Does it sit under makeup?
Yes — a weightless gel-cream base. Set with the Shield Mist to re-apply over makeup through the day.
Is it safe during pregnancy?
Only your doctor can clear a product for you. What we can tell you: we deliberately left out oxybenzone and octinoxate (the two filters most often flagged) and use large, new-generation filters that barely absorb. If you’d prefer a 100% mineral option while pregnant, that’s a completely valid choice — run it past your doctor.
How long does a tube last?
~45 days at the correct daily dose — the same clock as the Shield Mist, so the Duo runs out together and you reorder once.
